Reopening the Blog

I closed this blog for a while, mostly because it had become easier to leave it quiet than to decide what belonged here.

I am opening it again with a smaller promise: use this space for engineering notes, product tradeoffs, and the kind of implementation details that are easier to understand after writing them down.

The first pass is intentionally simple. Keep the site working, make publishing explicit, and make new posts start as drafts until they are ready.
